Upon arrival in Tashkent, you will be escorted to your hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, go on a local sightseeing tour. Visit Kukeldash and Barak Khan, two beautiful madrasas built in the 16th century; Kaffal Shashi, an ancient mausoleum; and Khast Imam — the holy heart of Tashkent featuring an ornate veneer of blue tiled mosaic. End the tour with a visit to Chorsu Bazaar in the old town of Tashkent. Overnight in Tashkent.
Post breakfast, get ready for a drive to Chimgan Mountains, 80 km away from Tashkent. Drive through the stunning views of Chimgan Valley — Uzbekistan's own Switzerland — and enjoy a 30-minute chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. Afterward, head to the beautiful Charvak Lake, formed by the joining of four big rivers. Spend leisurely time at the lake before driving back to the hotel. Overnight in Tashkent.
Get ready for a panoramic tour of Tashkent. See the Romanov Prince Duke Residence, Broadway Street for gifts and souvenirs shopping, Memorial of Repressions Victims, Tashkent TV Tower, Monument of Courage, and the Grand Opera — a beautiful opera house built in Soviet times in Roman style with traditional Uzbek mosaic patterns. After the tour, return to the hotel and relax. Overnight in Tashkent.
Set out for a full-day excursion to Samarkand — the former capital of the Great Amir Temur. Board the bullet train at 8 am. Visit Rukhabad Mausoleum, Hazrat-Hyzr Mosque, and Shakhi-Zinda (the Alive King). Proceed for the Samarkand City Tour covering Boulevard & Lions Street, the magnificent Registan Square with three Madrasahs, Guri Emir Mausoleum, and the Bibikhonum Mosque. Transfer to Samarkand Railway Station to board the return bullet train to Tashkent. Overnight in Tashkent.
Enjoy a relaxed morning after breakfast, then check out and proceed for shopping in the local markets. Visit the Old City where the local Uzbek people lived separately from the Russians. Visit Mega Planet Mall if time permits. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
